He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Dr. Perez is board-certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine (ABVLM) and is credentialed as both a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).

Dr. Perez is also a proud U.S. Army veteran, having completed two tours of duty at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.

Beautiful Renovated Downtown Location. I was referred by my PCP Dr. @ 11 AM visit, Truffles was able to see me by 3:15 on same day. Which I've been waiting weeks to get in at a different Testing facility. All five staff I came in contact with were very professional, very compassionate. Received my diagnosis immediately Dr. explained my results was given medication and was set up for follow up testing, unlike most facilities, you sent home waiting patiently for days to get your results then another few days waiting on your medication. I was extremely happy with Truffles Vein Specialist.
